Designmodo offers a very helpful video tutorial to create a flat design website using Photoshop. Spanning around 18 mins, the tutorial mainly uses resources by Designmodo and teaches about placement of elements, colors, fonts, etc.
02. Create a Website using UI Packs – Designmodo
This is another three-part series by Designmodo which explains converting a PSD template into HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Basic Photoshop knowledge is very useful and fastens the learning process. Check out Part-2 and Part-3 too.
